The Titans were efficient from the opening tip, shooting 54.3 percent from the field while controlling the glass and dictating the tempo throughout the game. GTCC finished with a 45–17 rebounding advantage and moved the ball effectively, tallying 21 assists on 38 made field goals.
Jordan Weaver led the way with a monster night, recording a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds while adding three blocks and two steals to anchor the Titans on both ends of the floor. Mike Cade followed with an efficient 20-point performance, shooting 9-of-12 from the field and dishing out four assists. Tyren Martin added 11 points and five rebounds, while Nikel Rodgers knocked down three three-pointers and finished with nine points.
GTCC’s depth continued to shine, as the bench provided steady contributions across the board. Osiris Peralta chipped in eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Tim Sanders added eight points and five rebounds, including key offensive boards that extended possessions.
Defensively, the Titans limited Johnston CC to 38.3 percent shooting and just 17 total rebounds, while forcing 16 turnovers. GTCC’s activity and pressure disrupted offensive rhythm and led to transition opportunities that kept the momentum firmly in their favor.
With the win, the Titans showcased their balance, physicality, and efficiency. GTCC will look to build on this performance as it prepares for its next matchup.
